Welcome to Riverside Unified School District's Instructional Support Web Site!

This web site is part of Instructional Technology’s High-Tech, High-Touch approach. Our intent is to improve communication between home and school and to provide a place where teachers can easily create and maintain classroom web sites that students and parents can access without having to login to gain up to date information in terms of what is happening in the classroom.
Please note that you do not need to login to access these pages. Only teachers and staff wanting to update their web sites need to log in. This web site tool is available to all RUSD certificated staff.

A few simple clicks are all that are needed to get to your or your students class web pages and gain access to important information like homework assignments, projects, unit information etc. To get to your web site simply click on the link called Class Pages under the tab that says Directory. There you will see a listing of all the schools in the district. Simply click on your school and you will see a listing of classroom web pages. Please note that not all teachers have created web sites.

There is also a list of links to other resources down the left side of the web page. Some require usernames and passwords but many do not. Please let us know if there is a resource that should be listed but is not.

The calendar section on this main page is setup to inform teachers of upcoming instructional technology trainings and will not apply to you; however once you get into your class web page you will see that the calendar has important information for that class.

E-Chalk is a template based web site building tool that allows Teachers to quickly and easily set up and maintain a class level web page. To use it you must first contact Jay McPhail (951-788-7135 ext 80307 or jmcphail@rusd.k12.ca.us) to obtain a username and password. Once you have the username and password go to http://support.rusdtech.net/eChalk%20SD.htm and follow the directions for each section. If you would prefer to attend a face to face training all training's are listed in MyPDC. eChalk training's occur the 4th Thursday of the month at the Staff Development Center.
